Sentrol Surface-Mount Door/Window Contact

All well-designed security systems guard against perimeter doors being opened by unauthorized persons. Some people also choose to protect ground floor windows and upper floor windows where access can be gained from the outside.

Each Door/Window Contact consists of two parts - a "switch", to be mounted on the frame of the door or window and a magnet, to be installed on the moving surface opposite the switch.

Opening the door or window moves the magnet away from the switch and a signal is transmitted to the Alarm Control, which analyses the event, to determine whether an alarm condition has occured.

The contact may be mounted at the top of, or opening side of the door or window. Do not install this device on the hinge side of the opening.
