Number Keys
Used to arm and disarm system. The star (
*
) is used for programing functions. The number sign (
#
) is used to reset the system once system programming is completed or when the wrong code was entered to arm the system.
Stay Button
Hold the Stay button down for two seconds and arm all perimeter devices such as windows and door contacts while having internal devices such as motion detectors bypassed. The system assumes the house is occupied.
Away Button
Hold the Away button down for two seconds and arm all burglary sensors including motion detectors, door/window contacts and glassbreak detectors. The system assumes the house will be vacant (excluding pets).
Chime Button
Hold Chime button down for two seconds to activate keypad chime. When activated, the keypad will chime when some opens/closes a zone covered by a magnetic contact. Hold Chime button down again for two seconds to deactivate Chime.
Fire Panic Buttons
Hold both Fire Panic buttons down simultaneously for two seconds and your system will send our Alarm Monitoring Centre a Fire panic signal.
Reset Button
To reset fire alarm or smoke detector (if installed).
Medical Panic Buttons
Hold both Medical Emergency buttons down simultaneously for two seconds and your system will send our Alarm Monitoring Centre a Medical Emergency panic signal.
Exit Button
To exit out of menu.
Police Panic Buttons
Hold both Police Panic buttons down simultaneously for two seconds and your system will send our Alarm Monitoring Centre a Police panic signal.
Ready Light
If the green Ready light is on, the system is ready to be armed. The system cannot be armed unless the green Ready light is on. If the green Ready light is not on, one of your protected zones is open or there is still movement in an area protected by a motion detector.
Armed Light
If the red Armed light is on, the system has been armed successfully.
Trouble Light
If the amber Trouble light is on, a trouble condition exists with your system. Some trouble conditions are; Low Battery, Loss of Power (AC Fail), Telephone Line Trouble, Failure to Communicate, Zone Fault, Zone Tamper, Low Zone Battery (for wireless sensors) and Service Required.
