This permits each and every alarm system to be custom designed to suit the individual needs of the home or business owner. In general, a well-designed security alarm solution will include some or all of the following devices:

  • A heavy duty rechargeable standby battery that can keep the alarm system operating during lengthy power failures
  • One or more digital alarm keypads, installed at convenient locations. These alarm keypads are used for programming your security alarm system as well as for turning the system on and off at your convenience.
  • Door and/or window contacts that detect a door or window being opened.
  • Motion Detectors (usually Passive Infrared Detectors) that sense the presence of an intruder and signal an alarm.
  • Glass Break Detectors that listen for the sound of glass being broken - but ignore other ambient noises.
  • Smoke Detectors and Heat Detectors that can sound an early alarm in the event of fire.

can offer security monitoring services for far more than just Burglar or Fire Alarms. Some of the most common "supervisory" situations that can be monitored for are:

Sump Pump Failure - when water rises too high and flooding is threatened. Low Temperature - when the temperature in your home or business reaches temperatures that approach freezing.

Natural Gas Detectors - special devices that sense the presence of Natural Gas before it reaches dangerous levels.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors can sniff out the presence of this deadly gas.

Medical Emergency special wireless devices can be worn as a necklace, bracelet or belt clip-on. When a button is pressed, a signal is sent to the Alarm Monitoring Center and a noise is generated to alert others on site that a problem exists. In many instances, lives can be saved when these devices alert your family or employees, and send a signal to the Alarm Monitoring Center.
